Groove+ vs Flick: Wand or Tongue, Which Massager to Buy
Groove+ vs Flick: Wand or Tongue, Which Massager to Buy
Quick Verdict
Groove+ is a flexible, ribbed wand you can use inside or outside, with 10 speeds on the button and custom patterns, live control and long-distance play through the MyMuse Sync app. Flick is a soft silicone tongue that flicks, external only, gentler, pocket-sized, no app. Same price. Pick Groove+ for range and strength, Flick for gentle precision.

Wand or tongue: what do Groove+ and Flick actually do?
Groove+ vibrates. Flick does not. That one fact settles most of this decision. Groove+ is a wand: a flexible, ribbed tip on a long, angled neck, made for internal and external use. Flick is a tongue: a soft silicone tongue that moves back and forth in flicking motions, and the Flick product page answers "Does Flick vibrate?" with a plain no.
Floodlight and spotlight. Groove+ covers ground: the vibration moves through the whole ribbed head, inside or along the outside. Flick works one spot at a time, the way a tongue would; L.K's five-star review: "With a little lube, it mimics real oral perfectly." Otherwise the two share a lot: body-safe silicone, IPX6, the same price, the same MyMuse warranty.

Can Groove+ be used inside, and can Flick?
Groove+ yes, Flick no. The Groove+ product page tags it for internal and external use, with water-based lube either way. Flick's use map lists three spots, all outside: sweet spot, nips, inner thigh.
Groove+ reviewers split on the inside part. Ananya (4 stars) "loved internal use, not too girthy"; Avani (3 stars) found it intense externally but "not much sensation internally"; Nh wanted at least three inches of thickness. If girth is the point, Groove+ is slimmer than that, and Flick is not an internal product at all. Our internal vs external massager guide covers which style to start with.
Which one is stronger, and which is gentler?
The strong one is Groove+, the gentle one Flick, and reviews say so from both sides. Shikha m. gave Groove+ five stars and still wrote "Vibrations are strong so not appropriate for beginners"; A M found "even the softer ones felt too strong for some things"; Sushma wanted it softer; only Vaishnavi wanted it stronger.
Flick sits at the other end. Praveen (3 stars): "Soft & gentle, good for people who enjoy lighter stimulation ... Not as intense as vibrating massagers". Jasmyn, five stars, admits "the flicking sensation takes some getting used to"; the angle tip Priyaa mentions is in the Flick how-to. Both are silicone, so water-based lube only: Glide (₹699) is the one the Groove+ page names in its own steps.
Range, strength and a partner who can take over from another city
Groove+ works on the button or in the app. Your call.
Find Your VibeDo I need the MyMuse Sync app for Groove+?
No. Press the power button and Groove+ shuffles through 10 pre-set speeds with no phone in the room; the product page says so in its FAQ, and Jamie Patel's review likes that it works "without the app by just pressing the button".
The app is still why Groove+ exists. Pair over Bluetooth (long-press until the light blinks, open MyMuse Sync, tap Connect Massager) and you get a live-control touchpad, Loop and Float modes, the 10 presets and custom patterns of five seconds or longer. Neha "made one that starts soft then goes ⚡⚡⚡ at end". Solo use needs no internet; the steps and phone requirements are on MyMuse's how-to-use page.
Long-distance mode needs the app and internet on both sides: one partner generates a 6-digit code, valid for 30 minutes, for a session of up to 120 minutes. Loveleen A. (five stars): "Sharing control from Dubai to Mumbai…felt unreal." Archana (3 stars): it "doesn't connect well for long distance. Otherwise, it's excellent". Bluetooth also drains the battery faster (Ms.D). Setup lives in the MyMuse Sync app guide, dropouts in the Bluetooth troubleshooting guide, the rest in the long-distance couples guide.
Which is quieter and which is smaller?
On paper Flick is quieter: 55 db at maximum against 60 db, both from the spec panels. Neither is whisper-quiet, and Groove+ reviewers disagree (King: "a bit noisy"; Poojitha: "whisper quiet"), so go by the number.
Size is not close either; Flick wins by a distance. Jaimie: "So easy to just put in my bag or drawer." Groove+ is a full wand with a long neck (Nikita S.: "so comfortable and so long") and ships with a suede pouch, not a travel pouch.
Which should a first-timer buy?
Either; the reviews refuse to choose for you. Poojitha j. called Groove+ "Perfect size for beginners"; Shikha m. called the same product not appropriate for beginners. Flick is gentler, which suits a first massager, but the flicking takes getting used to. Start with the sensation you already know you like; the clitoral massager vs wand massager explainer helps if you are not sure.

Can I use both together?
Yes, and MyMuse sells them as a pair: The Double Tap Kit bundles Groove+ and Flick at ₹4,899, less than buying the two separately. Reviewers cross over too; Sana Khanna, reviewing Flick, named "breeze and groove my favs". If Breeze is on your shortlist, read Breeze vs Flick next; Pulse (₹1,799) is the no-app, external-only alternative in Groove+ vs Pulse.

Groove+ vs Flick: your questions answered
Does Flick vibrate?
No. MyMuse Flick does not vibrate. Its soft, flexible silicone tongue moves back and forth in 10 flicking speeds and patterns, which is why it feels gentler than a wand such as Groove+.
Can I use Groove+ without the MyMuse Sync app?
Yes. MyMuse Groove+ works on its own: press the power button to cycle through 10 pre-set speeds. The app is optional and adds custom patterns, live control and long-distance mode on iPhones (iOS 14.0 and up) and Android phones (8.0 and up).
Does Groove+ long-distance mode need internet?
Yes, on both phones. Solo use of MyMuse Groove+ over Bluetooth needs no internet; long-distance control runs through the MyMuse Sync app with a 6-digit code valid for 30 minutes and sessions of up to 120 minutes.
Are Groove+ and Flick waterproof?
Both MyMuse Groove+ and Flick are rated IPX6 on their product spec panels. Neither is IPX7.
What warranty do Groove+ and Flick carry?
Both. MyMuse Groove+ and Flick are electronic massagers, so each is covered by the MyMuse warranty against defects in materials and workmanship; a claim needs a video of the fault. The period and the claim steps are on the MyMuse warranty and returns guide.
