MyMuse Sync App: Download, Setup and Privacy Guide
MyMuse Sync is MyMuse's free iPhone and Android app for Groove+, Dive+, Link+ and Loop+. It pairs over Bluetooth, gives you live touch control and custom patterns, and lets a partner take over from anywhere with a 6-digit code. All four massagers also work from their own power button, no app needed.

Get it from Google Play or the App Store; there is no APK to side-load, so skip the mirror sites. Looking for a parcel instead? That is the order tracking guide.
What is the MyMuse Sync app, and which massagers work with it?
Four massagers pair with it: Groove+, Dive+, Link+ and Loop+. The app is rated 18+ on both stores and costs nothing; on 03 Oct 2026 it showed 4.3 stars from 590 reviews on Google Play and 4.2 from 273 ratings on the App Store.
Dive without the plus sign is a different product; its page says it does not connect to MyMuse Sync. Pulse, Flick, Breeze, Edge, Grip and Jack Pro are manual too. No plus on the box, no app.
How do you set up the MyMuse Sync app on iPhone or Android?
Charge the massager until the light goes steady, long-press the power button until it pulses and blinks, open MyMuse Sync, allow Bluetooth, then tap Connect Massager. That is the whole flow from the official manual.
- Check the phone. An iPhone on iOS 14.0 or later, or an Android phone on 8.0 or higher. Phones only; the manual rules out tablets, iPads and laptops.
- Install and sign in. Get MyMuse Sync from the store links above and create an account; logins run through Auth0.
- Charge fully. The light blinks while charging and goes steady when full, which takes around 1.5 hours.
- Enter pairing mode. Long-press the power button until you feel a haptic pulse and see the light blinking.
- Bring it close and allow Bluetooth. Keep the massager within 1 to 2 feet of the phone the first time, open the app and accept the Bluetooth prompt ("Nearby devices" on Android 12 and newer).
- Tap Connect Massager and follow the prompts until the app confirms it has found your massager.
- Android fallback. If the app cannot see it, pair with "MM Massager" from your phone's Bluetooth settings, then reopen the app.
Do you need the app to use a MyMuse massager?
No. Every app-enabled MyMuse massager runs from its own power button, cycling through built-in presets. The app adds what the button cannot: live control from a trackpad, custom patterns you draw and save, and long-distance control for a partner. Device by device:
| Massager | Price | Without the app | Run time | Charge time | Water rating | Noise |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Groove+ (Lemon Tart) | ₹2,999 | 10 presets via the button | 1 to 1.5 hours | 1.5 to 2 hours | IPX6 | 60 dB max |
| Dive+ (Lavender Haze) | ₹3,299 | Built-in presets via the button | About 2.5 hours | About 1.5 hours | IPX7 | 50 dB |
| Link+ (Inkpen Blue) | ₹4,499 | 10 presets, power button | 2 hours | About 1 hour | IPX6 | 60 dB |
| Loop+ (Emerald Forest, Inkpen Blue) | ₹2,199 | 10 preset speeds, one button | 2 hours | Around 1 hour | IPX6 | 60 dB |

Loop+'s page adds: do not wear it for more than 30 minutes. All four are electronic devices and carry MyMuse's warranty; the warranty and returns guide has the terms. The Ultimate App-grade Kit bundles Groove+, Link+ and Dive+ for ₹9,499, less than the three bought separately on 03 Oct 2026.
What the app adds
Live Control is a trackpad: slide the yellow cursor up or down and the intensity follows. Loop mode repeats the last motion you drew; Float mode locks the intensity you pick. My Patterns holds 10 presets, and Add+ lets you draw your own, name it and play it back, as long as it runs at least 5 seconds. None of this needs internet, only Bluetooth.

Check It OutHow does long-distance control work, and can a partner run it all day?
Both of you install MyMuse Sync and log in with separate accounts on two phones. The person with the massager connects it, opens Long Distance, taps Share Control and generates a 6-digit code to send over. The partner opens Long Distance, taps Take Control and enters it. The code lasts 30 minutes, one partner can join at a time, and a session runs up to 120 minutes.
So no, nobody can keep control of your massager all day: a session needs a fresh code from you, and either of you can end it with the x at the top right. Internet is needed on both phones for this mode and nowhere else; the partner needs only the app, not a massager.

Loveleen A. wrote of Groove+ that "Sharing control from Dubai to Mumbai…felt unreal". Others saw lag on slow Wi-Fi, found it "hard to control" from North America, or lost the mode on low battery; latency rides on both connections, so charge up and find decent Wi-Fi first. There is no video call inside the app, and a session controls one massager, so both-at-once mutual play is not a feature today.
Is the MyMuse Sync app safe, and what does it collect?
The massager talks to your phone over Bluetooth only, not the internet, and a partner can join only with a code you generate, says the official manual. On data, the honest answer is the one printed on the store listings. Google Play's Data safety card for MyMuse Sync says the app may share personal info and app info and performance with third parties, and may collect personal info, messages and app info and performance.
In detail: your email address and crash or diagnostic data may be shared, for app functionality, analytics and developer communications; name, email and emails are collected, email also for advertising or marketing. Data is encrypted in transit and you can ask for it to be deleted. No location, camera, microphone or health data type is declared. Per Google's explainer, "collected" means pulled off your device and "shared" means passed to a third party.
Apple's App Privacy labels put contact info, user content, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics under both "linked to you" and "used to track you". Apple defines tracking as linking app data with third-party data for advertising, or sharing it with a data broker.
MyMuse's manual says the app collects only what device functionality and app performance need, that everything is encrypted in storage and in transit with AES-256 and TLS 1.2+, and that sessions expire after 2 hours. Delete your account under Profile > My Account > Delete Account. The site's privacy policy (last updated 4 July 2023) routes rights requests to support@mymuse.in.
Which permissions does it ask for?
The manual lists one prompt: Bluetooth. Since iOS 13, Apple requires every app to ask before using it; switch it off later under Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth. Android 12 and newer shows a "Nearby devices" prompt; Android 11 and older asked for Location instead because, per Android's developer documentation, a Bluetooth scan could reveal where you are.
Why is the app not finding the massager, or dropping the connection?
Work through support's checklist in its own order:
- Charge to a steady light.
- Update the app (About Us shows the version).
- Uninstall and reinstall.
- Make sure the same email is not logged in on two phones.
- Keep the phone next to the massager.
- Check whether the buttons work when the app does not.
Still stuck? Email support@mymuse.in with your phone model, OS version and a short screen recording.
Dive+ gets its own note: its Bluetooth chip sits in the tail, so once inserted, a pillow, blanket or clothing between phone and tail can cut the link. For any model that keeps dropping, the manual asks for a full charge, a phone within 10 metres, the app open and the screen awake; other Bluetooth devices nearby can interfere too. If the massager keeps running after a session, return to the app's home screen before closing it, or press the power button.
The Bluetooth troubleshooting guide goes deeper, and hardware faults go through the warranty and returns guide. Support hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST.
Key takeaways
- Free; iPhone (iOS 14.0+) and Android (8.0+) phones only; pairs with Groove+, Dive+, Link+ and Loop+.
- Pairing: charge, long-press to a blinking light, allow Bluetooth, tap Connect Massager. On Android the massager appears as MM Massager.
- Long distance: two accounts, two phones, a 6-digit code valid for 30 minutes, sessions up to 120 minutes.
- Store labels say email and diagnostic data may be shared; the manual says Bluetooth only, AES-256 and TLS 1.2+, and in-app account deletion.
- The app is optional; every app-enabled massager runs from its own button.
Frequently asked questions
Is the MyMuse Sync app free?
Yes. MyMuse Sync is listed as free on both Google Play and the App Store. The only thing you pay for is the massager.
Can I pair one massager with two phones, or two massagers with one app?
Neither. A MyMuse massager pairs with one phone at a time, and MyMuse Sync runs one massager at a time. To move it, delete it first: swipe left on MM Massager in the app on iPhone, or unpair it in Bluetooth settings on Android.
Can my partner and I control each other's massagers at the same time?
No. A Long-Distance session in MyMuse Sync has one massager and one partner at a time, and there is no video call inside the app.
Where do I get help with the MyMuse Sync app?
Inside MyMuse Sync, go to Profile, then Help and Support, or email support@mymuse.in with your phone model, OS version and a screen recording. Replies take 24 to 48 hours; there is no live chat.
