Best Waterproof Personal Massager India: Shower and Bath
Best Waterproof Personal Massager India: Shower and Bath
The short answer
Two MyMuse personal massagers are rated for a bath: Dive+ (₹3,299) and Dive (₹2,999), both printed IPX7, meaning immersion to one metre for 30 minutes. Breeze, Flick, Groove+, Pulse, Link+ and Loop+ print IPX6, so a shower is fine and a soak is not. Edge says water resistant, with no figure.

Every rating below is the string printed on the product page itself, read on 04 Oct 2026, with the standard's meaning next to it. Older MyMuse guides told you the whole range was IPX7 and fully submersible. That was wrong for six of the nine motorised devices, and correcting it is the reason this page exists.
What do IPX6 and IPX7 actually mean?
For a shower, IPX6 is the rating that matters. IPX7 is the one for going under. The numbers come from IEC 60529, the standard behind the IP code, and the tests are specific. The ISO 17025 lab Castle Compliance describes the jet tests: IPX5 uses a 6.3 mm nozzle at 12.5 litres a minute, IPX6 a 12.5 mm nozzle at 100 litres a minute from 2.5 to 3 metres away, for at least three minutes. Immersion is a different test: IPX7 holds the lowest point of the enclosure one metre under the surface for 30 minutes, and IPX8 has to be harsher than that, with the maker setting the terms. One trap worth knowing: an IPX7 rating does not automatically cover IPX6. The same lab calls that a widespread misconception. A device can pass one test and never have sat the other.
| Rating | The test behind it | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| IPX4 | Splashing water from any direction | Splashes only |
| IPX5 | 6.3 mm jet, 12.5 litres a minute | Light jets |
| IPX6 | 12.5 mm jet, 100 litres a minute, from 2.5 to 3 m | Shower and tap, not soaking |
| IPX7 | One metre under water, 30 minutes | Bath |
| IPX8 | Harsher than IPX7, terms set by the maker | Deeper or longer, by agreement |
Which MyMuse personal massagers are waterproof?
Two of eleven are rated for immersion, six for jets, one for neither in print, and two have no electronics to protect. Every cell below is the exact string on the product page, with what the standard allows beside it. Where the page says IPX6, this page says shower, not bath, and that is the whole correction.
| Product | Price | Printed on the product page | What IEC 60529 allows | Shower / bath |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dive+ | ₹3,299 | WaterProof IPX7 | Immersion, 1 m, 30 minutes | Yes / yes |
| Dive | ₹2,999 | WaterProof IPX7 | Immersion, 1 m, 30 minutes | Yes / yes, device only; the remote has no published rating |
| Breeze | ₹2,199 | Water Proof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Flick | ₹2,999 | Water Proof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Groove+ | ₹2,999 | Water Proof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Pulse | ₹1,799 | Waterproof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Link+ | ₹4,499 | WaterProof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Loop+ | ₹2,199 | WaterProof IPX6 | Powerful jets | Yes / no |
| Edge | ₹2,999 | Water Resistant, no figure | Not stated | Rinse only / no |
| Grip | ₹1,299 | No rating, no electronics | Not applicable | Wash with water and soap |
| Jack Pro | ₹1,125 | No rating, no electronics | Not applicable | Wash with water and soap |
Can you use it in the shower?
Yes, for every device that prints an IPX rating, which is nine of the eleven. A shower is close to what the IPX6 test simulates, and IPX7 covers more water than a shower throws. Edge is the exception, because its page prints no figure, so rinse the outside with both caps on and leave it at that. Two practical things the reviews keep surfacing. Wet silicone is slippery, and one Dive+ owner gave up on the shower for exactly that reason. And if you are using the app, your phone has no rating of its own, so leave it outside the cubicle. Afterwards, clean it: the NHS advice is to clean before and after every use, with attention to the seams where two parts meet.
Can you take it into the bath?
Only Dive+ and Dive, and only within what their rating actually covers: one metre down, 30 minutes, which is a test result rather than a promise about hot tubs or pools. No MyMuse page covers either of those, so neither does this one. Submerging an IPX6 device sits outside what its own page claims. Support's Edge questionnaire asks failed units whether they were submerged or only rinsed, which tells you how those conversations usually go. For lubricant in water, Glide (₹699) is water-based and rinses straight off, and every silicone product page says to avoid silicone and oil-based lubricants.

Does water affect charging?
Only if you plug in while the port is still wet, so dry it first. On most devices the charging point sits under the silicone, which is what keeps the rating intact and also what makes the cable fiddly: MyMuse support tells Breeze owners the point is encased in silicon and that you may need to jiggle the wire. Pulse and Flick owners say the same in reviews, one calling the plug finicky to get in. Use a 1 A adapter rather than a fast charger, and charge somewhere dry rather than in the bathroom. The 100-day warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on the electronics; how support treats water damage is not published, so this page will not promise it either way. The charging guide has the port locations.
Who should buy which one?
Dive+
Buy it if
- You want the bath, not just the shower. IPX7 is the only rating here that covers it.
- You want a fast rinse after, which travelling owners mention repeatedly.
Skip it if
- Grip matters more than rating; one owner found water made it "too slippery".
- You want buttons on the device rather than a phone you have to keep dry.

Breeze
Buy it if
- You want suction under running water; IPX6 is exactly the shower rating.
- You like a device that washes clean under a tap in seconds.
Skip it if
- You want to soak with it. IPX6 does not cover immersion at all.
- Fiddly charging bothers you; the port sits under silicone and the cable needs a jiggle.
Edge
Buy it if
- You want a motorised stroker in body-safe TPE with ten modes.
- You are happy rinsing the outside with both caps on.
Skip it if
- You want a published figure; its page prints water resistant and no IPX number.
- Cleaning irritates you. Owners call it inconvenient, and support asks failed units about submersion.
The only two rated for a bath
Dive+ prints IPX7 on its own page, which is the immersion rating, and owners report taking it everywhere from a hotel shower to the tub.
Check It OutKey takeaways
- Only Dive+ and Dive print IPX7, the immersion rating, so they are the two for a bath.
- IPX6 is a jet rating: Breeze, Flick, Groove+, Pulse, Link+ and Loop+ are shower devices, not soaking ones.
- Edge prints water resistant with no figure, so rinse it with the caps on and keep it out of the water.
- Dry the charging port before you plug in, and use a 1 A adapter rather than a fast charger.
Frequently asked questions
Are MyMuse vibrators waterproof?
Not all in the same way. Dive+ and Dive print IPX7 on their MyMuse product pages, which under IEC 60529 means immersion to one metre for 30 minutes. Breeze, Flick, Groove+, Pulse, Link+ and Loop+ print IPX6, a powerful-jet rating that covers a shower but not a soak. Edge prints water resistant with no figure.
Can I use a MyMuse massager in the shower?
Yes, for every MyMuse device that prints an IPX rating. IPX6 is the jet test, which is essentially what a shower does, and IPX7 covers more than that. Edge is the one exception, with no figure on its page, so rinse the outside with both caps on. If you are using the app, keep your phone out of the water.
Is IPX7 fully waterproof?
IPX7 means one specific thing under IEC 60529: the enclosure sits one metre below the surface for 30 minutes and survives. It is not a promise about hot tubs, pools or pressure washers. The test lab Castle Compliance is blunt that an IPX7 rating does not automatically cover the IPX6 jet test, so the two ratings answer different questions.
What is the difference between waterproof and splashproof?
Splashproof is IPX4, which is splashing water from any direction. IPX5 and IPX6 are jet ratings, IPX6 being the shower one at 100 litres a minute through a 12.5 mm nozzle. Waterproof in the immersion sense starts at IPX7. Calling an IPX6 device splashproof undersells it; calling it submersible oversells it.
