How do I set up a MyMuse massager the first time?

Wash it, charge it fully, then switch it on; a full charge before first use is step one on MyMuse's how-to-use page.

The box is plain cardboard, no MyMuse branding or product details outside, and the payment shows as "MyMuse India Private Limited" on your statement, per the MyMuse FAQ.

How do I charge it and which cable do I need?

MyMuse massagers charge through a pin plug into a round, silicone-covered socket; no magnetic charging, no USB-C. The Charging Cable (₹242) comes in two variants, one for Edge and one for every other massager; check the name before ordering a spare.

Three rules from the support team: a standard phone adapter (5V, 1 to 1.5 amp) or a laptop USB port, never a fast charger; flashing light while charging, steady when full (Breeze shows white); no running while plugged in.

The pin is the number one charging complaint: push the plug all the way in until it seats, and if the light stays off, pull it out and go again with a small jiggle (Prakhar Mody: "easy to get in once you understand the trick"). How do I turn each product on and change speeds?

Hold the power button for about 3 seconds (the "+" models blink to confirm), then press it to step through speeds. Product by product:

• What it is: a ribbed, flexible wand with an angled neck, inside or outside.
• Start: 10 pre-set speeds on the button; the app adds custom patterns and long-distance control.

Dive

• What it is: the remote-controlled version: 10 modes, a handheld remote, no app.
• Start: long-press the power button, then start the vibrations from the remote; keep the remote close (one reviewer found the range short).

• What it is: a vibrating stroker with a body-safe TPE sleeve, not silicone; no app, its own cable variant.
• Start: twist off the caps on both ends, add water-based lube, power on and step through 10 modes.
• Charge: about 30 minutes for a stated 2 hours of use; one reviewer measured closer to 45 minutes, so charge before each session.

How do I pair the MyMuse Sync app, and do I need it?

You do not need it. Groove+, Dive+, Link+ and Loop+ run their 10 presets from the power button; only names ending in a "+" pair with the app at all.

To pair: charge fully, long-press until you feel a haptic pulse and the light blinks, keep the massager within 1 to 2 feet of your phone, open MyMuse Sync, enable Bluetooth, tap Connect Massager; "Massager found!" means done. Phones only (iOS 14.0 or higher, Android 8.0 or higher); no tablets, iPads or laptops.

Solo use needs no internet; long-distance sessions do. Both partners need accounts, one generates a 6-digit code valid for 30 minutes, and a session lasts up to 120 minutes. Reviews set the expectation: Groove+ drains faster over Bluetooth and Dive+ can drop the connection once it is inside. How do I clean and store each product?

Warm water and mild soap, every time; never alcohol, gasoline or acetone. Motors are sealed and no silicone detaches, so nothing gets boiled.

Silicone routine (Groove+, Dive+, Dive, Link+, Loop+, Pulse, Breeze, Flick):

1. Rinse under warm, not hot, water straight after use.
2. Work in a little mild soap with your hands.
3. Go gently over ribs, seams and the socket cover.
4. Rinse until there is no slip left.
5. Dry fully, then back in the pouch.

The California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center's material-care guidance says the same: mild soap and water, dry thoroughly, no silicone-based lube on silicone.

TPE routine (Edge, Grip, Jack Pro): turn Grip or Jack Pro inside out, wash with warm water and mild soap, air-dry completely, then pouch. The same guidance: dry a sleeve inside and out, away from heat. Edge's sleeve stays put; wash, dry for hours, cap. Per mindbodygreen, a torn sleeve gets replaced.

Water-based lube only: every MyMuse product page says silicone or oil-based lubricants can damage the product. Store dry, in the pouch, somewhere cool. More depth in the cleaning guide.

Which lube or oil goes with which product?

Glide on any massager or stroker; Slick and the Glow oils on skin only, never a massager or a sleeve.

Who do I contact, and what does a warranty claim need?

Email support@mymuse.in; MyMuse's contact page calls it the quickest way to reach the team. Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST, replies within 24 to 48 hours. No WhatsApp number is published on the site, no Instagram DM support, no live chat.

Massagers (the electronic products) are covered by the MyMuse warranty against defects in materials and workmanship: replacement, not refund. Activate it by scanning the QR code on the warranty card. A claim needs a video of the fault, a video of it charging, and your order ID (it starts with MMSHOP) or the marketplace invoice; MyMuse then arranges a reverse pickup.
